Religious Wear

http://www.economist.com/world/europe/displayStory.cfm?story_id=15270861

An economist comment I agree with :

If burqa was a fashion & not a religious wear, would France have allowed it to be banned, I guess the first lady would be wearing it, if it were fashion. I am not muslim, but a Hindu. If people cannot understand the religious sentiments of a certain community, why offend it? There are muslim women I know, who would not be comfortable to face outside world without a burqa. What do we do with them?”

People were and are abiding by the laws set out by a country, I just feel that the government are now trying to shift the goal posts.

Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan buddists. I again have thousands of photos and this is the one i think that captures the difference in culture.

Update from Oct 09:

I have my DSLR. I love it!!
I've been to Sri Lanka and back. Amazing!
and i'm now a Solicitor (had my first hearing last week). Although the thought of having to be in court with lawyers of 10years + experience is daunting. It's something that i'm coming to terms with. For now I have the joys of photography to keep my mind relaxed.

I have to remind my self to take things one step at a time!
